These new build flats were part of the final stage of new build properties we have built on this road, with us building a total of 5 flats and 5 house over a 10 year period for the same developer. With these flats being in central Brighton there were lots of regulations our in-house architecture team had to take into consideration when designing this project, especially with the new builds being as eco friendly as possible. Due to the natural terrain we had a lot of excavating to do to ensure the levels were correct, you can see the amount we had to excavate due to the height of the retaining walls in the ground floor flats gardens. The construction of these flats was reinforced concrete floors to cover any fire and sound regulations and the 'thin-joint' block work system was used, which is a great way of working due to how quickly it can go up. As you can see this project had a great finish with the client being over the moon!
